Roasted Spaghetti Squash

So I have been absent lately and also have been strapped for cash and the things I have been making are literally chicken breast with salt and pepper cooked in butter. Not much use for this blog which is for experimenting :/ I also started my Internship (third time grrr...) and have been busy and very tired so yea, instant mashed potatoes have been my buddy lately lol.
Recently I started using more squash in my diet and I found that the simplest and cheapest squash (here its literally $1 for any size so yes to me its the best choice since I'm on a budget). I looked up a few recipes and tried them out and none really wowed me and I kinda had my first explosion in my micorwave (soooo pissed about that one, DONT LEAVE IT WHOLE WITH POKED HOLES IN THE MICROWAVE) It looked like halloween spit itself up in my microwave. I found that a simple one made at night can be a great snack during the day.
preheat oven to 400 F
All you need is a dish thats lined 3 times with tin foil and sprayed with Pam Olive oil spray
1 sphaghetti squash cut 1/2 past the stem, off. Then standing it on its flat side Slice it in half
Spoon out the innards, scrape until it looks like strands are coming off, the stop.
Spray the halves with Pam olive oil and lay them on their rounded side into your dish.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper and drop 1-2 tbsp butter into the squash.
Place into oven for 30-35 minutes until it looks like this
It'll cave in with a little force from the squeeze of tongs. Quickly flip it over trying to keep the butter under your squash and not all around it, it helps to steam the inside.
Bake for another 30-35 minute until your squash look like this...
It's not burnt just the shell of it which you don't eat.
Take it out of the oven and let it cool like this until you are certain you can hold one and scoop it out.

gently fluff and comb with a fork from the top where the stem was to the bottom of the squash. Think of it as a bunch of knots that you slowly have to pick at. It takes about 2 minutes to fully get one out and nice looking. You could just spoon it out and eat it but i like it looking like spaghetti lol.
Usually I add more butter and salt to mine. I've made a fritata with this by adding red peppers, onions, and eggs. Really easy to make and you can do alot with this.
